Tropical Storm Nicholas turned into a category 1 hurricane on Tuesday, August 14.

The area of Kashmere Gardens was out of power ever since. It has been a difficult time for them due to no power. Refrigerators don’t cool their food and they don’t have a stove that works to make their food.

NACC was happy to come to help the neighborhood here at 4900 Los Angeles St.

Alongside congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee We gave away food, drinks, instant food, and flashlights.
We were able to help all the families around this neighborhood.

We even blessed the cops in the area with plates of food as well.
